Welcome to Dawnphoenix

Dawnphoenix are a husband & wife team based in Pickering, North Yorkshire. They have over 60 years experience between them of owning Hunt Point Retrieve (HPR) dogs. Dawnphoenix HPRs are trained, worked and bred as exceptional, all-round companions for the field, or home with the family.

Because they are passionate about Hungarian Vizslas, Dawnphoenix strive to produce the highest quality puppies, true to breed standards and able to thrive in any suitable home.

Dawnphoenix are fully licenced by the local authority (North Yorkshire), Kennel Club Assured Breeders and Hungarian Vizla Club Approved Breeders. All pups are provided with pre-sale and after-care advice. In addition, they are Kennel Club registered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and veterinary health checked.

As well as breeding high quality HPR puppies, Dawnphoenix offer gun dog training sessions (one-to-one or in a group, from puppy to advanced), as well as a stud dog service.
